Fill the trap with warm water to the indicated line. Warm water helps activate the fermentation process more quickly. Do not overfill—follow the fill line marked on the trap.
Step 1 Image
Open the lure pouch and pour the contents into the trap. The lure will begin the fermentation process immediately upon contact with water. Close the trap securely.
Note: The lure has a strong scent—this is normal and necessary for attracting flies. Open the pouch outdoors for best results.
Step 2 Image
Place the trap 10–15 meters away from people, animals, doors, windows, or dining areas. Choose a sunny location—heat is essential for optimal performance.
Hang at eye level or slightly higher (approximately 1.5–2 meters from the ground) using the provided hanger or a sturdy hook.
Step 3 Image
Expect activation within 48 hours depending on temperature. The fermentation process needs time to develop the attractant scent.
You'll know it's working when you see flies entering the trap. Don't be discouraged if it takes a day or two—this is normal.
Step 4 Image
When the trap reaches capacity (typically after 6–12 weeks), dispose of it responsibly. The contents can be composted, buried, or disposed of with regular waste.
For reusable traps, empty and clean thoroughly, then use a new lure refill pack to reactivate.
